Patrol Leader Council

We will have the first PLC for the new office holders on wed. Aug 4 at 6:15 (45 minutes before the regular troop meeting). All leaders should attend and help plan our fall schedule of events.

Family Canoe Trip

Please sign-up for the Canoe trip Aug 20-22. The whole family is encouraged to join us on a two night camping trip and spend the day paddling on the river. We need to know how many family members are planning to attend. More details will be available after the Aug. 4th PLC meeting.

Court of Honor

Our annual Summer Court of Honor at Keener Park will be Sunday Aug 29. Each year we have a picnic and the boys present advancements earned over the summer. Don’t miss this! It’s been a busy summer and the boys have earned many awards. Don’t forget to sign-up and let us know how many family members will attend. Also, please let us know if you’d like to bring a covered dish to share with the group.

Troop Master

TroopMaster Web is now available! This new application will allow you and your son to see what we have recorded for his personal data and advancement, you will only be able to see your son’s information. Access to the information is protected by a user ID and password. Each family will need to request an individual ID from Mrs. Davis.

Popcorn Sales

The popcorn sale has been a big success! Total sales for 2009 are $13,612. We also collected $955 in popcorn donations for our troops in Iraq. Congratulations to everyone who participated.

Kroger Cards

Since we started the program in October of 2008, we’ve obtained over $7,012.17 from using the Kroger cards. It’s a great opportunity to add money to your son’s account, to be used for paying camping fees, dues, and other Scout-related expenses. Please see Mrs. Carpenter at a Troop Meeting if you’d like to purchase gift cards for a dollar.
